The Royal Kiosks
In commissioning a concept design from Mizzi Studio, we explores sustainable materials and traditional craft techniques with state-of-the-art manufacturing methods for Hastings Botanic Garden.
Mizzi Studio This sympathy towards our natural environment is demonstrated in a family of organic-inspired kiosks round London’s Royal Parks which respond to the Grade I listed landscape.
The Kew Gardens Family Kitchen and Shop
Through merging horticulture and design, engagement with the sun and seasons is integral to any botanic garden. This Mizzi Studio project highlights this approach in designing a wonder for Kew Gardens newest family eating space. With education and sustainability at its heart, the restaurant has been divided into six key learning zones and conceived to take families on an exciting, nature-filled journey.

Mizzi Studios visited White Rock area during their time in Hastings.
The breathtaking views, alignment to attractions such as Hastings Pier and Hastings Museum, located within an area which an extra community driven focal point could provide a significant positive impact stood out.
Hastings’ Winter Garden
A Winter Garden has been proposed in Hastings since 1870, prompting debates that have raged to this day.
Indeed, when the Borough bought White Rock in 1903, it promised that the part opposite the pier shall ‘be used solely as a site for Municipal Buildings Winter Garden and Recreation Grounds’. A year later, a magnificent design was published in the local newspaper for a Winter Garden opposite Warrior Square in St Leonards.
